Tuesdays With Morrie- Mitch Albom

"Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live." -Morrie Schwartz
Unlike any other book I've read, Tuesdays With Morrie was simply inspiring. Throughout the book you learn about Morrie and Mitch; how their lives have run their course so far. But you also learn a lot about yourself as well. It leaves you questioning if you really know what it's like to live, and what the true value of life really is. This is a touching story which will change your perspective on life. Powerful, lovely, brilliant. Definitely a must read.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower- Stephen Chbosky

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is written in an original format, making the book itself unique. Charlie, an outsider, learns a lot in his first year of high school, from love, sex, heartbreak, drugs, and most importantly, friendship. Suffering a battle within himself, Charlie tends to live on the sidelines and watch life pass him by. But with the help of his new friends, Patrick and Sam, he learns there is more to life then what's visible to the eye. He learns about trust, honestly, and the true meaning of acceptance and belonging. Overall, it was an exceptional read. It's the kind of book that will have readers racing to the final page and still want more.
