The Shining- Stephen King
Stephen King's "The Shining" was
one of those books that you just don't want to put down. Though the first few
chapters of the book are slow due to all the character details, it is
intriguing. Every part of the book falls into place slowly, tempting your mind.
It gives you no choice but to stay up reading this heart-pounding journey of
Jack, Wendy, and their son Danny. As the Outlook Hotel comes to life around the
family, terror sets in, giving you the read of your life. And with unexpected
turns, you will be fueled to read every last page. After reading the book, you
would find the movie bland and in exciting. Stephen King's true masterpiece
lies between the pages. Definitely a recommended book to anyone looking for a
thrill. The Shining will not disappoint.
